How to use the Painting Kit?
Step 1: Plan your design. You can also use a pencil to sketch it out directly on the piece. These pencil marks burn off.
Step 2: Use the underglaze paint to decorate your piece. Apply three coats for an opaque finish. Fun Tip! Use the flower magnet as a color reference. The flower tile shows how the paint looks like after firing.
Step 3: Fill up the card with your shipping details. Drop off your painted piece at Laro Ceramics, Quezon City for free glazing and firing. We'll ship back the finished piece to you within two weeks.
Some FAQs:
Do I need to pickup the piece in person? No need! We'll ship it directly to your address.
What if I make a mistake with painting? You can wipe the paint off the piece with a damp towel or sponge! The paint should come out right away.
Is the paint kid-friendly? Are pregnant women allowed to use the kit? Yes this kit is perfectly okay for kids and pregnant women. Kids should still have a guardian present when using this kit. The paint is also lead-free.
Does the paint wash off clothes? Some of the darker colors like black and red tend to stain linens. Please use with caution.
The kit doesn't come with a pencil. How do I plan my design? You can also paint freehand directly on the piece. Let your creativity flow.
