This beginner-friendly, 3-hour session at Laro Ceramics is designed for anyone who wants to experience pottery. No prior experience needed. Using simple hand-building techniques, you’ll craft your own ceramic mug from scratch in a relaxed, guided studio setting.
THE EXPERIENCE. In 3 hours, you’ll go from a block of clay to a fully formed, personalized mug — shaped and painted entirely by you.
Come solo, with friends, or as a date. The process is simple, the experience is memorable, and no two pieces ever turn out the same.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Learn beginner-friendly hand-building techniques
- Shape and form your own ceramic mug
- Add texture, details, and paint your piece
- Leave your work with us for glazing and firing
- Waiting time of 3 months. Your finished pieces will be ready in approximately 3 months, fully glazed and safe for everyday use.

- Tools + 1kg stoneware clay for your mug
- Free Painting Session using underglaze paint
- Glazing and kiln firing (food-safe finish)

No cancellations or refunds. Please arrive on time. There is a grace period of 10 minutes for the class. Late arrivals will be asked to reschedule their class.
